Currently based in London, Ontario, I have worked as a freelance writer and editor for seven years. I have a Master of Arts in Journalism from Western University, and an honours business degree from McMaster University.

I have worked on both sides of the media — as a journalist and as a communications professional. My work has appeared in Metro News, where I published a general interest column for two and a half years, as well as The Londoner, St. Thomas-Times Journal, Saanich News, Victoria News, and Western Alumni Gazette. Online, my work has appeared at the Canadian Baseball Network, Sportsnet.ca, MLB.com and Yahoo Health, as well as the websites of the Western Mustangs and Ontario University Athletics. I also worked as a reporter for the Olympic News Service at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

As a communications professional, I have produced stories, press releases, media guides, brochures, annual reports, advertisements and newsletters. I have worked in communications departments for three different non-profit organizations, as well as the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry.
